The Rijksuniversiteit Groningen invites all interested students to join a guest talk by Ton Manders on Thursday, 8th September 2016, from 12:00 – 13:30. The event will take place in the Energy Barn at EnTranCe.
Ton Manders is head of the Department of Information, Data and Methodology of the PBL Netherlands Environment Assessment Agency, and project leader and (co)author of the 2014 report “Green Gains: In search of opportunities for the Dutch economy”. During his visit at EnTranCe, Ton will illustrate that, if the Netherlands is to remain a strong player in the global economy, it needs to intensify its efforts in greening its economy. Additionally, he will focus on the interface between greening and competitiveness and, in particular, on the entrepreneurial opportunities provided by this global trend.
